The story
What's Greg's story?
The math that started it. Greg’s neighbor had been on solar for a year when they got to talking, and he showed Greg the actual paperwork. Real bills, real savings, no pitch. So Greg pulled his own statements: about 250 dollars a month to the utility, every month, and climbing. “These bills are only going up. I’m going to do something about it.”
The design. Chico summers run hard, and the AC runs with them. Westhaven walked his options and built an 8.25 kW system sized to his real life, with a payment that came in under the bill it replaced.
Two years later. The hot tub has not been shut down once. The Christmas lights run. The extra laundry runs. “Before, I really had to think about it. Once I got my system in, it became apparent pretty soon that I wasn’t wasting money.” And production? “Pretty close to exactly what was estimated.” That is the sentence Power Guard exists to make true.
