Tesla Powerwall
Tesla Powerwall, designed around your home.
Westhaven Power designs and installs Tesla Powerwall home battery systems across Northern California. We size the system around your usage and your outages, install it with our own in-house crews, and watch it 24/7 through Power Guard monitoring. When the utility shuts the grid down, your home keeps running on stored power.
The product
What does a Tesla Powerwall do?
A Tesla Powerwall is a home battery. Your solar fills it while the sun is up; your home draws from it at night and whenever the grid is out. During a PSPS shutoff it keeps your home running on power you already made, quietly, with no fuel and no cord to pull.
Westhaven Power designs and installs Tesla Powerwall home batteries across Northern California with its own in-house crews and watches every system it installs 24/7 through Power Guard monitoring.
Specs
What are the current Powerwall specs?
13.5 kWh of stored energy
Enough to carry a typical home through the evening and overnight. Solar refills it the next morning.
11.5 kW of continuous power
The potential to start and run the heavy stuff: AC, well pump, kitchen. Not just lights and Wi-Fi.
Built-in solar inverter
One unit handles solar and storage. Fewer boxes on your wall, a cleaner install, one system to watch.
Expansion packs, 13.5 kWh each
More capacity without paying for a second inverter you do not need. That is what makes multi-Powerwall capacity affordable.
10-year warranty
A decade of coverage in writing.
Built for outdoor life
Sealed and weather-rated. Valley summers and storm season are what it is built for.
Why Westhaven
Designed around your home, not a template.
Two homes with the same battery can have very different outages. We start with yours: what must stay on, how often the grid disappears where you live, what your roof produces. Then we size the system, install it with our own crew, and keep watching it with Power Guard monitoring 24/7. 10,000+ installations across Northern California in 15+ years stand behind the approach.
Questions
Straight answers
What does a Tesla Powerwall do?
It stores power at your house. Your solar fills it during the day, and your home draws from it when the sun is down or the grid is out. During a PSPS shutoff, the battery keeps your home running on the power you already made.
Will a Powerwall keep my lights on during a PSPS shutoff?
Yes, that is the point of it. A PSPS is PG&E proactively shutting off power during wildfire-risk weather. A Powerwall system designed around your home keeps what matters running on stored power while the neighborhood waits for the grid.
How many Powerwalls do I need?
There is no one answer, and we will not pretend there is. We design the system around your usage, your outages, and what you want backed up, then show you the design before you decide. That is step two of our plan: we design around your home. And more capacity does not always mean more Powerwalls. Expansion packs add 13.5 kWh of storage without a second built-in inverter, so growing the system costs less than you would guess.
Who installs my Powerwall?
Westhaven Power's own in-house crews. The people who design the system install it and service it; we never subcontract. 10,000+ installations across Northern California in 15+ years.
What happens after the install?
Power Guard monitoring watches every system we install 24/7. And if your Powerwall pairs with solar we install, the Power Guard Guarantee puts your production number in a separate signed contract.
Does Westhaven install other batteries?
Yes, we also install Enphase home battery systems. We share your options first, and the design decides which battery fits your home.
