Westhaven Power is a family-owned solar and battery installer, founded in Yuba City, California in 2011 and led by founder and CEO Brett Joerger. In 15+ years our own in-house crews have completed more than 10,000 installations across Northern California. We never subcontract, and Power Guard monitoring watches every system around the clock.
The founder
Why does Westhaven exist?
Brett Joerger founded Westhaven Power in Yuba City in 2011. HVAC first, then master electrician, Brett came up through more than 20 years of hands-on work in the trades. He still leads the in-house crews that design, install, and service every system. He also wrote the Solar Results Guidebook homeowners download from this site.
In 2024 he put the philosophy in writing: Grid Liberation, his book on why owning your power is now the smart, safe move. You can find it on Amazon.
